Katri Ylander achieved national fame by placing second in the second season of Idols in 2005.
She released her fifth and latest album, ‘Yhteisii unelmii’, in autumn 2020. The themes of the lyrics on the album focus on moments and turning points in life when you must let something go or start something new. Katri also participated in the ‘Tähdet, tähdet’ programme on Nelonen in the autumn as one of the contestants.
Katri is known for her naturally beautiful and strong voice and emotional interpretation. For many years, her listeners have wanted her to return and this solidified her decision for a comeback!
