To get to Pentala Archipelago Museum you can use the scheduled boats of the City of Espoo, or arrive by your own boat to the museum's pier. We recommend taking a scheduled boat, as the number of berths on the pier is limited.

SCHEDULED BOATS TO PENTALA, SUMMER 2020 

From Tuesday to Sunday between 6 June and 9 August 2020
The following weekends: 15-16.8, 22-23.8 and 29-30.8.2020 

It's not possible to reserve tickets beforehand.
The archipelago boats do not run on Mondays.

Dogs are welcome on board.

There are two routes to Pentala, The  Museum Route and the Kivenlahti Archipelago Route.
The Museum Route: Soukka - Pentala - Suinonsalmi - Suomenoja
The Ki:venlahti Archipelago Route: Kivenlahti - Ristiniemi - Soukka - Pentala - Suinonsalmi

BOAT TICKETS TO PENTALA (return)

A museum route or Kivenlahti route ticket: € 6 (return ticket). Other destinations: one-way ticket € 6, return ticket € 12.

Children under 7 years of age travel for free with a paying adult.

Espoo residents who have the 68+ Sports Pass travel for free with a friend.

The archipelago boats accept both cash and card payments.

The pier of the Archipelago Museum has a limited number of berths for visitors’ boats (10 pontoon berths, draft 1,8-2,5 meters). Each boat may spend four hours in berth. Staying overnight is not allowed.

Please note that the pier of the Esbo Segelförening yacht club is reserved for club members and the customers of the Paven archipelago restaurant. 

MUSEUM ROUTE BOAT HARBOURS AND PIERS ON MAINLAND 

Soukka boat harbour (Klobben)
Soukanlahdentie 15, 02360 Espoo

• The journey to Pentala takes about 20 minutes.
• The nearest bus stop is Soukanlahdentie, located
about 900 metres from the pier.
• There is parking space for 150 cars in the
harbour.

Suomenoja boat harbour
Hylkeenpyytäjäntie 9, 02270 Espoo (follow the large
signs, the pier is about 500 m from the gate)

• The journey to Pentala takes about 40 minutes.
• The nearest bus stops are Peijinkatu, about 1 km
from the pier, and Hyljeranta, about
300 m from the pier.
• There is parking space for 2,120 cars in the
harbour.

Suinonsalmi archipelago boat pier
Suvisaarentie 8, 02380 Espoo

• The journey to Pentala takes about 20 minutes.
• The nearest bus stop is Suinonsalmi, located
about 200 metres from the pier.
• Around 40 parking spaces with 300 meters
walking distance from the pier.
