Located in Tapiola, Espoo, Kino Tapiola is one of the few historic theaters in the Helsinki metropolitan area that has been preserved in its original, culturally protected form.
Honouring its classy 1950s aesthetic, Kino Tapiola has been renovated to include the latest screening technology. The theatre belongs to the esteemed Europe Cinemas network, which supports European film culture and ensures its visibility among a wider audience. For this reason, the program is carefully chosen to include the best of newest releases, with an emphasis on Finnish and European films.
Kino Tapiola is run by its parent company Espoon elokuvajuhlat ry, which also organizes the Espoo Ciné film festival.
